Expansion to the Spanish market
Indaver Portugal extended it’s activity to Spain. Since then Indaver Portugal has strenght its position in the Iberian market and became the market leader in waste services to pharmaceutical and chemical industry.
2007
Start Transfer Station activity
With the start-up of the exploitation of hazardous waste transfer station, Indaver Portugal as changed from a branch to a anonymous society (Indaver Portugal, SA).
2006
Construction of the Transfer Station
In 2006, Indaver Portugal built the waste transfer station in Abrantes. This transfer station has been designed following strict Northern European safety standards for hazardous goods. This is unique for Portugal.



2001
Start up in Portugal
Indaver Portugal was created in 2001 as a commercial branch of mother company Indaver NV (Belgium), with 2 local employees.At the time Indaver decided to start the activity in Portugal because several multinational pharmaceutical and chemical companies with whom Indaver already had a long term relationship were present in the country. Therefore, Indaver decided to also support those customers in the Portuguese market.
