Indaver always opts for the best available technology for treating its customers’ waste flows. We strive to continuously improve our installations, in order to achieve higher performance with fewer resources and to recover even more materials and energy from waste. A continuous improvement programme ensures optimal operational return.
The scale of individual plants and a solid position in Europe allows for a safe, responsible and cost-effective service. Thanks to a continuous improvement programme (Lean Six Sigma), operational standards remain high. Focus is put on operational efficiency for high availability, throughput capacities and recovery of energy. Continuous improvement in terms of quality and safety is also at the forefront of our minds.
Indaver doesn’t compromise when it comes to safety and respecting regulations. We are fully aware of the risks and hazards when dealing with customers’ waste streams. To avoid risks, our procedures follow the same standards as large-scale chemical plants. Indaver adheres to the principles of the Chemical Industry Federation Responsible Care Programme and EFQM. It is ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certified. Indaver Impex, the on-site waste treatment department, is also VCA-P certified.
QESH (Quality, Environment, Safety & Health) Management is one of our priorities and we are committed to its continual improvement. Our operational procedures, QESH management processes and audit capabilities are reviewed and developed to ensure that the systems put in place function effectively; prevent environmental damage; provide a quality service to customers; provide a quality workplace for employees; and ensure, insofar as is reasonably practicable, the safety, health and welfare at work of all our employees and others who may be affected by our activities.
Indaver is committed to maintaining the highest standards possible in all aspects of its business, but above all in the way it handles waste. We ensure that we are always compliant with all relevant environmental and health & safety legislation and regulations. Due to the nature of our activities we must be compliant with a number of different regulatory and legislative requirements and adhere to our various licences and permits. Our most frequently requested certificates are available.
